Brookfield Zoo Host Family Event

Almost 40 Cultural Care Au Pair host families gathered at Brookfield Zoo on Sunday May 18, 2008. They enjoyed refreshments and meeting each other. Children had their face painted by Janine, an au pair from Germany and Edith, a LCC from Chicago. The sun peaked out once and while, the rain stayed away, and all enjoyed the zoo. Cultural Care Program Director, Maureen McDonnell and Regional Development Director Erica Greenberg joined Chicago area Local Childcare Coordinators; Tanja Saarinen, Siobhan Richards, Megan ODonnell, Edith Tarter, Shelia Stanczak, Jana Elmore, Karrie Peters, and Karen Relstab.

Kids First Charity Car Wash

What a success! We collected $300 for Kids First. Thank You Everyone For All Your Hard Work! We almost had 100% attendance. Only 3 au pairs could not make it.
Congratulations to Janine Buttler for winning the $25 Visa Gift Card. She collected $70 in prepaid car wash tickets!
